The MX200 is a feature packed alarm system including an engine immobiliser, offering protection against break in and theft of and from the vehicle.
The MX200 is wired to the bonnet, boot and doors and is supplied with an electronic shock sensor. Should an attempt at a break in occur, the siren will sound and the park lights will flash. To prevent theft of the vehicle itself,an engine immobiliser is included as standard.
Supplied with 2x2 button rolling code remotes, the MX200 can be connected to a vehicle's central locking.
Optional relays are available where required by the vehicle.
The MX200 can be further enhanced by having the "no extra cost" automatic arming feature enabled. Apart from arming the alarm system, the added benefit is automatic engine immobilisation.
An innovation is the 2 stage dis-arm - if the siren sounds, the first press of the remote button simply cancels the alarm but does not deactivate it. A second press, 2nd stage, then dis-arms and, if connected, unlocks the doors.
To provide greater security, the MX200 will re-arm 30 seconds after it was remotely disarmed but a door is not opened within that time.
The MX200S version adds enhanced security by the inclusion of a battery back-up siren.
To enable this product to operate a vehicle's existing central locking, the vehicle must be suitably equipped.
